20/20 Kit Project

Too often, people who experience significant vision loss do not receive the information about the services they might benefit from or need. This information provides access to all the resources that promote development and fulfillment towards greater autonomy.

In order to properly inform people who experience significant vision loss, the APHVO team is putting in place a kit that will be made available to professionals and stakeholders in our region. This kit contains comprehensive information on local, regional, provincial, and federal resources. Health specialists will be able to distribute the kit to their patients. This reference tool will be accessible in different alternative formats (large print, braille and audio).

“We’ll see to it together”

This reference tool answers a multitude of questions related to visual impairment. Lack of information unfortunately contributes to isolation and hinders social integration.

If you are interested in receiving the complete kit, just write to us at the following email address:
[email protected] or call us at the following telephone number: 819 771-5417.

It is with great pleasure that we will send you this precious document by mail or you can come and visit us to obtain the Kit at the following address: 109, rue Wright, door 008, Gatineau, Quebec.
