Tandem cycling project with our partner MOBI-O

The APHVO’s mission is to advocate for rights in all spheres of human activity. Since sport is a necessary part of a person’s development and autonomy, the APHVO team considers it imperative to develop such an important project. This enables our members to maintain a healthy mind in a healthy body.

With our partner, MOBI-O, whose mission is to promote the development, implementation, and promotion of sustainable mobility solutions, we are in the process of setting up a sports activity project: the tandem cycling project.

This sporting activity aims to break the isolation of members and promote healthy lifestyles while improving the APHVO’s visibility and raising community awareness of the challenges of individuals with a visual impairment. The project is led by Isabelle Trottier, Martin Lachance, and Richard Lemieux. Despite the pandemic, we continue to make the necessary efforts so that the project can take shape in 2021 or spring 2022.
